[Sent 3/27] Dear Parents,
As we continue to find ourselves in uncharted territory, we are working within the standards set forth by the CDC and HHS for how we operate as a childcare facility as well as continuing our efforts to always do what is best for the children in our care.
We’ve had a great week getting back in the swing and we’ve been excited to see our friends. Please check in with your Director and let us know how you and your family are doing.
We have unfortunately begun furloughing staff in response to much reduced attendance. We plan to continue to pay health benefits and support our teachers as best as possible during this time away from work. THANK YOU to those of you that have chosen to continue to pay some or all of your Tuition. Your child’s teacher greatly appreciates your support!!
We will continue our 8:00a.m. – 5:00 p.m. hours for next week, the week of March 30. We are reviewing our schedule week by week. We will be closed for Good Friday, Friday, April 10.
Thank you for continuing to let us be a part of your family, We wish you the very safest of days!
Debbie, Dan and Ed + Young Learner Team
[Sent 3/23] Dear Parents,
It was good to see our friends today. Our drop off process worked well this morning and went very smoothly. We know this is a challenging time and the information changes daily.
As we follow along with all of our health updates, we want to proceed with all the appropriate caution. For this reason we would like to ask you all to be mindful of the health of your entire household. Please treat the whole house as one unit and if anyone is sick, please do not send your child to school until there are no symptoms from anyone in the house for 3 days. We understand that this is difficult but we are all making difficult decisions in order to protect our entire community.
Stay well and safe!
Debbie + The Young Learners Staff

[Sent 3/19] Dear Parents,
I hope this email finds you and your family well.
We already have an update regarding recommendations for sick policy. The new recommendation is to stay home three (3) days post symptoms and at least a week from onset. Our previous policy was 24 hours. As we start back Monday, If symptoms appear, we will require children and staff to stay home for three days without symptoms. This is also three days post symptoms without any medication.
Some of you have asked and we also wanted to let you know that we are requiring the same procedures for our staff. They will arrive prior to your children. Their temperature will be checked upon arrival. They will use sanitizer upon entry to have their temperature taken. Once they are cleared, they will immediately wash their hands thoroughly.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday.
Stay well,
Debbie + The Young Learners Staff
